At each Mountain Auction public auction, the items to be sold will be available for you to inspect prior to the sale.

During the on-site previews, Mountain Auction personnel will be available to assist you with any questions you may have. Whenever possible, we will be happy to arrange an appointment for an early inspection, or we will put you in touch with a former user or with an associate knowledgeable about the particular equipment you are interested in buying so that you can get all the information you need.

Many industrial auctions today are conducted off-site at a hotel or convention center, or in seating that has been provided at the factory. For these "theater style" auctions, images of each item are projected on a screen in front of the bidding audience as the item is being sold. You'll probably find these auctions more convenient because you can sit comfortably in a chair while you bid and easily refer to any notes you've made at inspection. 

We have found that knowledgeable buyers are the happiest auction buyers. To that end, we make every effort possible to describe items as accurately as possible. While all catalog descriptions are believed to be correct, we can make no warranties with respect to the accuracy of our nomenclature. All items at auction are sold "as is, where is," and "with all faults". It is the responsibility of the buyer or buyer's agent to inspect the merchandise prior to the sale.
